Flip Shelton's Natural Muesli
 I have three varieties of muesli plus my new five-grain porridge. Like Goldilocks, I know you'll find one that's juuust right.
The mueslis come in convenient 500g and 1kg re-sealable packs. While I recommend a serving size of 75g, you can adjust this amount according to your dietary requirements (depending on whether you have a mama, papa or baby bear appetite).

Contents: Cereals (65%): rolled oats, quick oats, bran and amaranth. Seeds (13%): pumpkin, sunflower and sesame seeds; fruit (10%): apricots and cranberries; nuts (10%): pecans and almonds.

The one with fruit and nuts This natural muesli (my favourite) combines fruits and nuts for those who want it all. While it has the exotic cranberry and the delicious Australian dried apricot, this blend has no sultanas. This may be a world first: a muesli without sultanas!
Apart from the amazing taste, each of the 12 ingredients brings unique nutritional qualities to your bowl.
This muesli has a low GI and is high in fibre. The oats provide a base rich in complex carbohydrates for sustained energy release. The bran, a great source of fibre, helps keep you regular. A 75 g serve of this muesli provides nearly 25% of the daily recommended fibre intake.
The generous portions of five nuts and seeds supply protein to maintain and renew muscles, essential fatty acids needed by every cell in the body, and key vitamins and minerals including zinc, magnesium and selenium. The amaranth provides protein, iron, amino acids and Vitamin E.
The dried fruits give a naturally sweet taste plus good supplies of potassium, zinc and iron. Some dried fruit is prepared with sulphur dioxide to prevent discolouration and deterioration.

The perfect choice for those who wish to be nut-free, this muesli is chewy and has the lowest saturated fat content (less than 1 g per serve) of all my mueslis.

The one with just nuts and seeds With eight different nuts and seeds, this crunchy muesli is ideal for those who are nuts about nutrition and wish to be fruit-free.
With the most fibre of all my mueslis, this blend contains all shapes and sizes from the small sesame seed to the big Brazil nut. It's high in essential fats but with a very low saturated fat level.
